Marty Goldstein began his love affair with dogs growing up in San Diego CA with two Irish Setters and hundreds of stuffed animals.

After retiring from corporate life, Marty combined his passions for art and “man’s best friend,” by creating whimsical sculptures of dogs and with unique personalities and attitudes.

His passion blossomed into a collection of 130 sculptures that are now cast in bronze in the classic lost wax process, creating very limited editions for each. He reasons that if he smiles during his creative process, others will enjoy these lovable creatures and start each day with a smile.

"Dogs are here to stay," says Marty. "I am here to create the real and the whimsy in dogs for the pleasure of anyone who enjoys "Man's Best Friend." Renown Hospital in Reno has a number of Marty’s dogs on permanent display in its pediatric cancer ward. Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara installed a large piece in its hospital. The FDR library has a replica of President Roosevelt's loving dog Fala.
