MAINTENANCE NEEDS:  Low Maintenance.  Susceptible to wilt and stem rot, which can be fatal.  Other potential diseases include powdery mildew, leaf spots, and rust. Potential insect pests include aphids, vine weevils, slugs/snails, scale and earwigs. Watch for spider mites. If possible, plant the roots in the area with afternoon shade and climb the foliage into full sun for best results.

 LANDSCAPE USES:  Accents or Group Plantings, Borders, Woodland Gardens,  Naturalized Areas, Trellises and Containers.
