Protection
600 denier waterproof and breathable polyester outer has either 100 gram or 200 grams of poly fiber fill inside, making it ideal for cool evening inside or most winter days. The Norse Turnout Blanket is also a good choice as a weatherproof top layer over a stable sheet for turnout time. It’s fully lined with coat-friendly poly taffeta. A tail flap creates a final wind and rain barrier. If you want a bit more coverage, the Norse Turnout Sheet features our shoulder attachment system designed for use with the Norse Neck Cover, sold separately. The reflective Equinavia horse head logos inside the extended gusset help with visibility as the days get shorter.
Durability
Outer ripstop 600 denier fabric is waterproof and breathable. The stainless-steel hardware on the high tensile strength adjustable polypropylene surcingles are rust and corrosion resistant, even on the wettest days. The removable tail cord is covered in plastic for easy-care cleaning and extended life. The front closure buckle holes are riveted for added strength. Finally, our 3-year warranty applies.

Lightweight and flexible 600 denier fabric, combined with the extended shoulder gusset and generous shoulder pattern, allows your horse to play and move freely. The generous shoulder pattern on our Norse Turnout blanket accommodates a wider variety of horse shapes. The front closure has 4 inches of adjustability as well to help you a achieve the best and most comfortable fit for your horse. Adjustable and removable leg straps have 3-inch elastic inserts and soft fleece padding at the withers to complete the comfort features.
