My advice is go with your gut. My son is normally a size 34...I ordered a a 36 because of both their size chart and reviews. After looking at the size chart I told myself that's too big, but said no, reviews state this is perfect and it is 1 size up from what he wears. As I was ordering I was telling myself "this is going to be too big, I just know it." Guess what? I was right...and now I'm paying for these size 4XL pants to be tailored (am I stupid or is a 36 supposed to be 4xl?? I still wonder if this is my mess up). The jacket actually fit quite nicely, maybe a tad too big, but not enough to even need to tailor it. Honestly this company needs to let us pick a size for the jacket and a size for the pants, instead of it being almost a guarantee one of them will be too big.
