Part of the 'Famous Fuzzies' series that Kate did, based on the vintage game of Fuzzy Felt which allowed you to make your own pictures from simple felt shapes.  The idea with these cards being that the images are so well known that you don't need details like faces to recognise the original art works they represent.

For art lovers and students everywhere who appreciate that art is subjective and having fun and playing with the subject matter is never a bad thing.

Aaagh! - Kate's version of Munch's angst ridden Scream is full of colour - just not as much red as the film of the same name.

Toots Ma - I bet Whistler's Mother wasn't the life and soul of the party but I hope her chair was comfy.

Neighbourhood Watch  - This American Gothic duo look much more friendly in felt. 

Smug - Is she smiling? I don't know her face is made of felt!

Laffin Boy - This Cavalier, said to be the most brilliant of the of Baroque paintings obviously hasn't seen Kates version. 

Plain Jane  - Third wife of Henry VIII she died in childbirth but was his only wife to receive a Queens's funeral - not so plain now huh?
