A TRANSFORMATIVE BOOK ABOUT THE LIVES WE WISH WE HAD AND WHAT THEY CAN TEACH US ABOUT WHO WE ARE

All of us lead two parallel lives: the one we are actively living, and the one we feel we should have had or might yet have. As hard as we try to exist in the moment, the unlived life is an inescapable presence, a shadow at our heels. And this itself can become the story of our lives: an elegy to unmet needs and sacrificed desires. We become haunted by the myth of our own potential, of what we have in ourselves to be or to do. And this can make of our lives a perpetual game of falling short.

But what happens if we remove the idea of failure from the equation? With his flair for graceful paradox, the acclaimed psychoanalyst Adam Phillips suggests that if we accept frustration as a way of outlining what we really want, satisfaction suddenly becomes possible. To crave a life without frustration is to crave a life without the potential to identify and accomplish our desires.

In Missing Out, an elegant, compassionate, and absorbing book, Phillips draws deeply on his own clinical experience as well as on the works of Shakespeare and Freud, of D. W. Winnicott and William James, to suggest that frustration, not getting it, and getting away with it are all chapters in our unlived lives--and may be essential to the one fully lived.

Great wipes
Size: 25 Count (Pack of 1), Style: Makeup Remover Wipes
Perfect travel sized wipes! They are very gentle and are great for removing makeup. They are not sticky and are not fragranced. They leave my face feeling moist and clean. Nothing is as good as a regular face wash but this is still the next best thing.

Excellent wipes
Size: 25 Count (Pack of 1), Style: Makeup Remover Wipes
These wipes are perfect. They are large, unscented, and remove all makeup, especially waterproof, eyeliner, and mascara. I have always used the Costco/Kirkland ones and they have discontinued them. I have been trying different wipes and these arrive today and they are excellent . I have allergies and dry eye so my eyes are very sensitive. No problem at all.

Soft, Effective, and Great for Sensitive Skin – I Love Them!
Size: 25 Count (Pack of 1), Style: Makeup Remover Wipes
The Cetaphil Gentle Makeup Removing Face Wipes are fantastic! They’re soft, non-irritating, and remove makeup easily — even mascara and long-wear products. The formula feels soothing and doesn’t leave any sticky residue, which I really appreciate. They’re perfect for sensitive skin and leave my face feeling clean, refreshed, and comforted. The wipes stay moist in the pack and are great for travel, gym bags, or quick cleanups. I like them a lot and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for gentle but effective makeup wipes!

Good for the sensitive skin girlies
Size: 25 Count (Pack of 1), Style: Makeup Remover Wipes
These remove the makeup from my skin without a lot of fuss, and without upsetting my skin at all. I have to be pretty selective about what I'm putting on my face, skincare wise, makeup wise, make up remover wise... because I have really sensitive skin. I've used the Cetaphil cleanser, and actively use one of the Cetaphil lotions in my daily skincare routine since their formulas are pretty tame, so I decided to give the wipes a shot, and I'm pretty pleased with them, so far. I can use these every day without any kind of irritation, and without breaking out the next day, so they get an A+ from me. They're also completely unscented which is perfect. Now, I probably wouldn't try to take off a full face with it, just because there aren't many in there, but I can use just one wipe to take off my brows, eyeshadow and eyeliner pretty easily. Not super thrilled about the pricing for the amount of wipes that are in there, but they're pretty quality makeup wipes, so they're plenty worth it if you don't mind the cost.

I’d Give It 10 Stars
I absolutely love this toner. It has a light, watery texture and feels so calming on my skin. I looked it up and it contains centella asiatica and PHA, so it’s meant to soothe while gently exfoliating and helping skin look smoother. It also has betaine, and the formula is described as good for sensitive-looking skin. For me, this has been amazing for calming irritated skin. I’ve used it on razor burn, bug bites, and spots that needed a little extra soothing, and it really helped my skin feel better. It feels fresh, not heavy or sticky, and I love how gentle it is. If I could give it 10 stars, I would. This bottle has officially earned “tiny skincare miracle worker” status in my house.
