Product Details:
The LED downlight is a versatile and efficient solution for mid-size builds or home makeovers. It comes in 25 fixed downlights with an IP20 rating, making them suitable for various indoor areas, except the bathroom and water zones. The downlight has a fixed gimbal, so before trimming the cut-out hole, ensure you're 100% set on the placements.
Our LED downlight is fire-rated to 30, 60, and 90 minutes for solid joist ceilings and 30 minutes for web and I-joist ceilings. Its intumescent pad expands when exposed to a precise temperature, blocking tiny crevices surrounding the downlight and preventing the fire from spreading. In addition, the downlight works with any GU10 bulb, which is available in three LED colours: cool white, natural white, and warm white light.
The downlight's slimline profile and chic matt black finish make it a perfect lighting solution for various design schemes, such as minimalist, rustic, industrial, contemporary, and classic. Its open-can design also ensures that the bulb used with it will last throughout its long average lifespan.
The installation process is not just fast and effortless; it's designed to make you feel confident. Thanks to its twist-and-lock mechanism and push-fit terminal blocks for easy loop-in/out, you can install it with ease. It is also mains-powered, eliminating the need for a separate driver or transformer. To mount the downlight, sketch its positioning, trim the cut-out hole, wire it straight to the mains circuit, and add a GU10 lamp of your choice.
Furthermore, the downlight is insulation-coverable, allowing loft insulation to be placed loosely over its rear. However, this feature is only available when paired with a GU10 LED lamp with a maximum power of 7w.
