Description

The Appointed Duty: Potty Patrol "Part 2 - Needed: A Revolution In Education"Do you know the teachers in your childs school? In many ways, teaching today is a very thankless profession. Expectations of administrators, parents, and the community do not end at the distribution of curriculum; teachers are often called upon to be psychologists, disciplinarians, baby sitters, motivators, counselors, mediators, and experts in every facet of knowledge, all for a fraction of the salaries earned by other professionals. Marilu OMalley

Do you know the teachers in your childs school? In many ways, teaching today is a very thankless profession. Expectations of administrators, parents, and the community do not end at the distribution of curriculum; teachers are often called upon to be psychologists, disciplinarians, baby-sitters, motivators, counselors, mediators, and experts in every facet of knowledge, all for a fraction of the salaries earned by other professionals. Marilu OMalley is saddened by the state of our schools today and the effect it has on student learning. She believes that true change in our education system can only occur when communities work together to address problems of administrative dishonesty, intimidation, manipulation of staff and parents, and gross mismanagement, with the goal of bettering the learning of our children. The Appointed Duty: Potty Patrol provides a glimpse into the life of one teacher who shares her joys and struggles in a wry manner through personal letters. These experiences set the stage for OMalley to suggest solutions for higher education institutions, government officials, administrators, teachers, students, and parents to the problems she perceives as detrimental to the learning of our children.

Style: w/ Rope Design, Size: Pack of 2
I recently purchased the Camco Wheel Chock with Rope (Pack of 2) for my trailer, and I couldn’t be happier! These chocks are sturdy and durable, providing excellent stability to keep my trailer securely in place, even on uneven surfaces. The attached rope makes removal so easy—no more struggling to pull them out from under the tires! They’re lightweight yet strong, and the pack of two gives me peace of mind knowing both wheels are well secured. A simple, reliable product that every RV or trailer owner should have. Highly recommend!

Great rv wheel chocks
Style: w/ Rope Design, Size: Pack of 2
After ten years, I finally decided to replace one pair of these. They have taken abuse through eleven camping seasons with my rv and I gave them to the new owner when selling my old trailer. I like these because I can use my orange plastic deadblow hammer to get them tight to the wheels. They are pointy so they really get under the tire and stay put. The rope handle makes them easy to pick up and move to the storage bay.

Excellent leveling blocks for our (heavy) Sprinter van
Size: 10.5' x 10.5", Color: Gray, Size: 10.5' x 10.5", Color: Gray
This review is for the FasTen XL 10 pack (10.5" × 10.5", 10 ea.). We have a 2024 AWD Sprinter van that's been fully converted to a Class B camper. Fully loaded, the van weighs ~ 8,650 lbs, and sits on 265-mm-wide (10.4-inches wide) BF Goodrich AT KO2 tires. The width of the tires were a driving factor in deciding to purchase the XL-sized blocks instead of the standard blocks. In addition, each wheel carries more than a ton of weight, especially in the rear. To be honest, I had my doubts about how well these plastic blocks would stand up to such loads. I am happy to report that after three weeks of daily use on both dirt and paved surfaces, these blocks have performed very well, showing no signs of cracking or deforming. While in use, the blocks sometimes appear to be bent (and possibly they are, but this could also be an illusion). Nonetheless, when stowing them, the blocks are perfectly flat and stack nicely for easy storage in the van's equipment box. Just knock off the dirt and pebbles, stack them up using the convenient handle, and you're ready to go.
