This book is a game changer in that it takes an in-depth look at the lingering and undeniable effects of slavery on the psyche of today's African Americans. One of the best, most practical, and well written books on Black Liberation!
Format: Paperback
So good that I am creating a book club for young (teenagers) POC. Very good book that is pro-Black without being anti-Anyone. I love the approach: you can love your race and promote it without also enslaving or attacking others. I am enjoying the read immensely and will be buying other books by the author. It's a really easy read, and arranged in a way that makes it easy to use for lesson planning and discussion.
