Edward Reynolds was born in November 1593. He showed great knowledge and skill in the study of the Greek language and was distinguished as a good disputant and orator at Merton College in Oxford. After receiving his Master of Arts degree, he entered the ministry and became an eminent preacher, his works comprising 6 volumes in reprint.

In 1643, he was chosen as one of the Assembly of Divines at Westminster, and is represented as giving constant attendance during the sessions. He was a covenanter and a frequent preacher in London. Following this, he was chosen Dean of Christ Church and Vice-Chancellor of the University in 1648.

In 1660, along with Edward Calamy, Reynolds was made a chaplain to the King. He preached several times to the King and to Parliament.

The historian Wood said of him, ÒDr. Reynolds was a person of excellent parts and endowments, of a very good wit, fancy, and judgment, a great divine, and much esteemed by all parties for his preaching and florid style.Ó He died July 28, 1676. Daniel Neal, the historian said, Òhe was reckoned one of the most eloquent pulpit men of his age, and a good old Puritan.Ó

Our dogs hurt their mouths chewing these bones
Color: Purple & Blue
I don't do a lot of reviews because I realize many are objective opinions. However, in this case I felt it was necessary to warn others. Our dogs are aggressive chewers. Their last rubber bones (not these) which we've purchased before, and recently purchased again, were destroyed quickly. Chunks of rubber came off the ends. Since those didn't hold up like they used to, I found these harder bones hoping they would last longer. They were able to gnaw into the hard plastic within a few minutes. This created sharp edges that cut their mouths. When I saw a bit of blood on the bones, I took them away from the dogs and threw them away. I wondered why they quit chewing on them after being so excited at first. Also, these are hard enough to damage a tooth.

Pups have shown zero interest in these toys….
Color: Purple & Blue
I would agree that these are indestructible being neither of my dogs have shown any interest in these at all. At this rate they should last forever…
