In 1834 Samuel W. Pond and his brother Gideon built a cabin near Cloud Man's village of the Dakota Indians on the shore of Lake Calhoun--now present-day Minneapolis--intending to preach Christianity to the Indians. The brothers were to spend nearly twenty years learning the Dakota language and observing how the Indians lived. In the 1860s and 1870s, after the Dakota had fought a disastrous war with the whites who had taken their land, Samuel Pond recorded his recollections of the Indians "to show what manner of people the Dakotas were . . . while they still retained the customs of their ancestors."
Pond's work, first published in 1908, is now considered a classic. Gary Clayton Anderson's introduction discusses Pond's career and the effects of his background on this work, "unrivaled today for its discussion of Dakota material culture and social, political, religious, and economic institutions."

Bright, easy to use
Color: White
Love that you have different light settings. Perfect lighting. Fit easy and perfect. Only downfall is you need 4 batteries. Not had it long enough to know how long it will last. Would buy again.

Brite light fits umbrella well.
Color: White
Great little light, lights up the table great. much better price than the local department stores. time will tell how it holds up but it seems to be built fairly well, also time will tell how long the 4 AA batteries last before they will need changed but all in all I am happy.

Very Bright, Easy to Put Up / Take Down
Color: White, Color: White
This light is very bright, and more than meets our needs. In addition, it has a nice easy to use latch that allows you to quickly put it on and take it off. It takes 4 batteries, which is a bit more than most, but given the brightness and number of LEDs, it seems to make sense. So far, we’re beyond thrilled to have such an affordable option that made our patio more usable at night.

Whish it was brighter
Color: White
It is ok, but I thought it would illuminate better.
It provided some light right underneath, but it does not open up more lighting around. It barely expends to the whole length of the table.

My favorite pimple patches
Style: Bundle, Size: 2 Piece Set
I've tried the competitor Mighty Patches and a couple other pimple patches. These are my favorite because they stay on the best and do the best job of healing/absorbing. The Microcrystal Spot Cover actually hurts a little when you put it on from the little spikes... but I love that because I feel like it's actually doing something! I wish they were a little more affordable.
