The Ingrid Sweater Baby is worked from the top down in a knit and purl texture pattern. First, the back yoke is worked back and forth and the sloping shoulders are shaped using short rows. The front and back yoke are joined at the underarms to form the body, which is worked straight down in the round. The sleeves are knitted in the round from stitches that are picked up and knitted along the armholes. A rib neck edge is worked, folded double and knitted together. The Ingrid Sweater Baby is worked in a texture pattern, which consists of three different pattern sections, each one separated by an eyelet section.

Length: 28 (30) 32 (34) cm (incl. neck edge)
Gauge: 20 stitches x 32 rows = 10 x 10cm swatch in texture pattern on 4.5mm needles after wash and blocking
Suggested Needles:
Circular needles: 4.5mm / 40 or 60 cm and 4mm / 40 or 60 cm
Double-pointed needles: 3mm, 4mm and 4.5mm unless using the Magic Loop Technique.
Materials:
Yarn. 150 (150-200) 200 (200) grams of a DK 8ply wool yarn (based on meterage of 50 grams = 108m).
