During zero axle load conditions, the Wavetrac cam device acts to create internal load, maintaining drive on the gripping wheel instead of acting like an open diff (and going nowhere!). Super strong 9310 alloy steel gears are enclosed in case-hardened steel bodies, held together with ARP fasteners. All Wavetrac differentials include a transferable, Limited Lifetime Warranty. 3 1/4" bearing bore housing. 30 degree pressure angle. Fits Ford 9" with 3.250" case.

Good Enough
This doesn't fit precisely into place. You can see in the photo that the pleats just end with no frame on the sides to seal to the body of the housing. You can wiggle the end pleat into place but there's nothing holding it there so I don't know how long it will stay there. Not a big deal for me, but if you live on a dirt road, there could be enough air bypassing the filter that you may get a dusty car sooner. Price was fine, but I won't buy this filter again.

Fit right, easy to install, high quality filter. The oil change places make their money on these add-ons. We let them check it at oil change time but order online, get it the next day, and do our own replacement in minutes. Money saver IMO.
