Like the standard form, it thrives in full sun, well-draining soil, and warm dry conditions, making it an excellent choice for containers, rock gardens, and xeriscape landscapes. While highly drought tolerant, it is not frost hardy and should be protected from freezing temperatures by moving it indoors to a sunny windowsill or under a grow light when needed.
