Like master painters exploring a subject over a lifetime's work, Kevin Martin and Dylan Carlson - The Bug and Earth, respectively - have each been mining and defining their genres for more than 20 years. They're united by an interest in - really an obsession with - heaviness. They search for, examine and break the boundaries between beautiful and ugly, minimal and maximal, light and dark - but The Bug and Earth always make music that is heavy in the most thrilling of ways. Ninja Tune asked The Bug and Dylan Carlson to perform live in LA around the label's 25th anniversary, and Martin and Carlson took the opportunity to rekindle The Bug vs Earth project. They holed up in Daddy Kev's legendary LA studio, with DJ Nobody engineering, for two very long days. Those recording sessions have resulted in the masterpiece that is Concrete Desert. Inspired by J.G. Ballard's urban dystopias, and the Californian dream capital's sordid, fragmented underbelly, Martin says that the album is in some ways a Los Angeles-set companion piece to London Zoo.

Great assortment of clips—fits well and saves a trip to the dealer

Picked up this 40-piece set to replace missing/broken push-type retainers on my bumper/fender liner area. The assortment is a solid value—having extras on hand is way cheaper than buying a few at a time locally. The clips I used snapped in securely and held the panel tight without rattles.
Tip: match the old clip’s size before installing (hole diameter + stem length). I tested a couple first to confirm fit and then finished the job. For basic trim/under-cover repairs, this is an easy, cost-effective kit to keep in the garage.

They’re okay

These fender clips are just okay. They fit reasonably well and did the job for a quick fix, but the quality isn’t the best. Some of them felt a bit flimsy, and a few broke during installation.
If you’re in a pinch and need a temporary or budget-friendly option, these will work. Just don’t expect OEM-level durability. Decent for the price, but not great.
