So, if you're looking for a continuous and uniform strip of light, without the dot effect, then you should get our COB LED strip! This LED tape produces a seamless bright glow which is perfect for lighting any part of your home or business. You can use it as a decorative light, under-cabinet lights, plinth lights, cove lighting and more. This LED strip is versatile and easy to install since it comes with a double-sided 3M adhesive backing that you just need to peel the cover off and stick to a clean surface. Your space will not only look bright, but the aesthetic will look sublime and incredibly modern!
We sell our COB LED strip per metre (quantity of 1 = 1 metre), but we also offer a free bespoke cutting service if you need customised lengths. Since it's cuttable every 50mm, make sure that you round down to the nearest 50mm when you call us to place your order. Also, just to be clear, when you purchase a quantity of five, you'll get a 5m long strip, not five strips that are 1m long.
This COB LED strip is dimmable when paired with a remote control or a traditional wall dimmer (must be LED compatible and needs a dimmable LED driver). You can also integrate it with Smart devices like Alexa and Goole home if you add a smart controller. With dimmable lights, you'll have the freedom to customise the ambience of your space to suit your mood!
When it comes to finding the right LED driver for your LED COB strip, you need to multiply the metres of your strip by 10 watts (this strip runs at 10 watts per metre). So, if you're using 5m, multiply it by 10; you'll need a 50w driver. Make sure that when you do this, you round up to the nearest wattage driver, not down. If your lights have a higher wattage than your driver, the driver will overload and might ruin your lights.
