Dark purple in colour, it shows sweet violet aromas on the nose and just a hint of spice. Dark fruit flavours are on display on the palate, with supple tannins and a savoury finish.
The Hawke’s Bay region provides a temperate climate well suited to a range of wine grapes. It is best known for its red blends and chardonnay, and the region also produces an incredibly impressive Syrah.
