The woodpecker, Boomer, from The Fox and the Hound, takes the spotlight in this lot with a rare hand-painted color model cel that showcases an impressive full-figure image of the character. Created to maintain color consistency across the paint department of the film's production, this 16-field color model cel shows a sensational picture of the memorable character, voiced by Paul Winchell. Boomer is showcased, measuring 6.75" x 5.25", labeled B in the bottom right corner. The cel is stapled to a 16-field animation sheet. The cel and animation sheet has pinholes on the right area and staple holes on the top edge. In Very good condition with light handling and edge wear from production.
The cel is sold unframed.
