The Aquafrost Free Standing Water Cooler is a commercial-grade hydration system constructed from UV-stabilized High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE). Engineered for both residential and workplace environments, it accommodates all standard commercial water bottles and gravity-fed filtration units.
The system is available in classic black or sleek white finishes. Depending on environmental requirements, it can be configured as either a Cool & Cold or Hot & Cold dispensing unit.
Cabinet & Hardware Construction
The exterior chassis is manufactured as a one-piece, blow-molded HDPE cabinet. This construction method results in a lightweight, scratch-resistant body that is easy to maintain.
- Dispensing Taps: Utilizes NSF-approved Nylon lever-type taps equipped with food-grade silicon internal tubing.
- Safety Mechanisms: The Hot & Cold configuration includes a dedicated safety mechanism on the hot water tap to prevent accidental dispensing.
- Modular Maintenance: Features a specialized lift-out reservoir design, allowing technicians and users to easily access internal components for deep cleaning.
Internal Reservoir Capabilities
Unlike standard steel-only models, the Aquafrost employs a dual-material reservoir strategy to optimize thermal retention and prevent internal corrosion.
- Cold Reservoir: Features a generous 2.6-liter capacity constructed entirely from food-grade, rustproof HDPE. Delivers water at approximately 4-10°C.
- Hot Reservoir: The 2.0-liter hot tank is constructed from Type 304 stainless steel. It utilizes a 500-watt internal heater to maintain precise temperatures between 84-89°C.
- Ambient Dispensing: Cool & Cold models include a room-temperature tap alongside the primary chilled output.
Refrigeration & Electrical Systems
The internal cooling mechanism is driven by a hermetically sealed condenser equipped with automatic overload protection, ensuring consistent operation under continuous load.
- Cooling System: Utilizes R134A refrigerant gas, managed by an efficient capillary tube flow control system.
- Electrical Compliance: Fully certified (Certificate No. 171550) for standard 220v 50Hz single-phase power.
- Power Draw: Operates at an efficient 0.8 amps full load current and includes a standard 1.5-meter power cord.
Warranty & Accessory Requirements
This cooler includes a 36-month comprehensive warranty covering parts and labor. Please note that the main water bottle and any internal water filters are optional add-ons and are not supplied with the base chassis. Improper filtration installation may void the warranty. To ensure full compatibility, refer to our primary bottled water coolers guidelines before operating the unit.
