Unique, sustainably sourced Australian Blackwood (Acacia melanoxylon) from the Otway Ranges in Victoria. This set has been selected from the same log, ensuring consistency in colour and timber properties. The timber is processed to ensure the grain is as straight as possible to minimise long-grain runout and increase stability, strength and acoustic qualities. 

This unique highly figured set will illuminate your next ukulele build. There is a lot of room to move so sap line can be reduced or removed if desired. Side sets will need to use some sap. 

Top and Back Set

This timber has been air dried and seasoned for at least 4 years and has reached an EMC of approximately 8%.
