About the Workshop:

This introductory yet comprehensive in-person intensive workshop, taught by CBA instructor Maria Verónica San Martín, offers students a deep dive into both softcover and hardcover bookbinding. Participants will explore non-adhesive structures, bindings for single sheets, and a variety of bindings that can be created with minimal specialized equipment.

Throughout the week, students will learn accordion structures, three different pamphlet bindings, French stitch, and a range of softcover bindings. The course also introduces the fundamentals of hardcover bookbinding, with particular attention to how internal structures influence the final book. Students will develop essential skills to create a variety of hardcover books, preparing them to pursue more complex structures such as inboard cloth-bound books.

Required Materials:

All other materials will be provided by Center for Book Arts at no additional cost.

One size smaller is perfect!
Color: Navy, Size: 10 Years
This suit fit perfect but I did order one size smaller than my grandson normally wears. It is very well made and he can't wait to wear it in the wedding.
