Affordable and practical, the 400-TBL-10-2 Stereo Microscope is one of National Optical & Scientific Instruments' most popular models. Featuring a pared down yet rugged design, the 400-TBL-2 sets itself apart from the other models in the 400 series with paired 2x objectives, high intensity incidental and transmitted tungsten illumination, and 2 80mm stage plates.
Much like its cohort, the 400-TBL-10-2 features the same vertical paired 10x widefield eyepieces. The eyepieces boast diopter adjustment, interpupillary adjustment, and allow for an optional reticle to be attached. Illumination is controlled via an illuminated base mounted on/off switch. And rack and pinion focusing with safety mechanisms ensure that you can adjust the view of the specimen according to your needs.
- Paired 10x widefield eyepieces with diopter adjustment. Interpupillary adjustment from 50mm to 75mm. Accepts optional #965-400-05 & #965-400-10 23mm eyepiece reticle
- Paired 2x objectives are parfocalled, parcentered, achromatic and fixed permanently in place. Standard magnification of 20x is considered ideal. Optional WF15x eyepieces increase magnification by 50 percent
- High intensity, 12V 10 watt built-in incidental (top) and transmitted (bottom) illumination with base mounted on/off switch
- Rack and pinion focusing with slip clutch and tension adjustment
- Post mount with locking collar, permits up or down adjustment of viewing head to accommodate different sized objects on stage
- 80mm reversible black/white plastic contrast plate and 80mm frosted glass stage plate
- Locked-on stage clips
