The PawBeam™ is a hands-free automatic laser toy that runs play sessions on its own schedule throughout the day. Place it on a shelf or table using the stand, or press the suction cup base to any glass surface — a window, a glass door, a mirror — and it will project a moving red laser dot across the floor, walls, or ceiling for your cat to chase while you get on with something else.
The built-in timer runs 10 minutes of automatic movement every 1.5 hours — so your cat gets regular play sessions even if you're out or busy. Three speed modes and nine tilt-angle positions let you match the laser range and pace to your cat's age and energy level. A single button on the rear cycles through the modes, with a colour-coded LED so you always know which mode is active.
What it does
⏱️ Auto timer cycle
Runs for 10 minutes, then enters 1.5-hour standby — then repeats. Your cat gets consistent play sessions throughout the day without you having to remember to turn it on. Note: this is a fixed timer, not motion detection.
🌀 3 speed modes
Slow (purple LED) for kittens or older cats. Fast (yellow LED) for active cats wanting a proper chase. Mixed (blue LED) alternates between speeds for unpredictable movement. One button cycles through all three.
📐 9 angle positions
Tilt dial adjusts from position 1 (tight small circle at close range) to position 9 (wide sweeping arc across the room). Set it low for floor-stalking cats or high for cats who like to jump for a moving target.
🧲 Two placement options
Sit it on a desk, shelf, or table using the round stand — or press the suction cup to any smooth glass or tile surface (windows, glass doors, mirrors). Changes the play area and keeps things fresh.
♻️ USB-C rechargeable
Built-in rechargeable battery charged via the included USB-C cable (5V/1A adapter). Battery level indicator shows on the front lens display while charging. No disposable batteries needed.
🔇 Silent motor
Low-noise motor won't startle skittish cats or disturb the household. Cats that are nervous around loud mechanical toys tend to engage with this one — the movement catches their eye without the noise putting them off.
Getting started
Charge first
Plug in using the included USB-C cable. Use a 5V/1A adapter only. The battery indicator on the front lens shows charge status. Charge fully before first use.
Position & angle
Place on a table or press to a window. Adjust the tilt dial (1–9) to set the sweep range — lower for floor play, higher for wall/ceiling movement.
Select speed & go
Press the rear button to cycle to your chosen speed mode (watch the LED colour). The timer runs automatically from there — 10 minutes on, 1.5 hours standby, repeat.

⚠ Laser eye safety
Never point the laser directly into eyes — human or animal. The PawBeam™ is designed to project onto the floor, walls, and ceiling at a safe angle. Do not tilt the unit to aim the beam directly at face level. Use a 5V/1A adapter only when charging — do not use higher-output chargers.
Questions
What's the difference between the Desk Stand and Window Mount versions?
The laser unit is identical — the only difference is the base. The Desk Stand version comes with a round pedestal that sits on any flat surface (shelf, table, windowsill). The Window Mount version comes with a suction cup that attaches to smooth glass surfaces, letting you position the laser higher up for a bigger sweep area across the floor or wall below.
Does it turn itself off automatically?
Yes. The PawBeam™ runs for 10 minutes, then automatically enters a 1.5-hour standby before switching back on for another 10-minute session. This cycle repeats while the unit is powered on. It is not motion-activated — it runs on its fixed timer regardless of whether your cat is in the room.
Which speed mode should I use for my cat?
Slow mode (purple LED) works well for kittens, senior cats, or cats new to laser toys — the movement is deliberate and easier to follow. Fast mode (yellow LED) suits active adult cats that lose interest in slow movement. Mixed mode (blue LED) alternates between speeds for unpredictable patterns that hold attention longer. Start on Slow for the first session and adjust from there.
What does the angle dial do?
The tilt dial on the side adjusts where the laser sweeps — positions 1 to 9. Position 1 projects a tight small circle close to the unit (good for cats that prefer floor-level play). Position 9 tilts the head higher for a wide sweeping arc that covers more of the room. Experiment with a few positions to find what your cat responds to most.
Is the laser safe?
The PawBeam™ is designed to project onto surfaces at a safe angle — not directly at eye level. Always ensure the unit is positioned so the beam sweeps the floor, walls, or ceiling rather than face height. Never look directly into the laser aperture. Keep the unit out of reach of young children.
My cat ignores laser toys — will this work?
Some cats need time to notice a new laser toy. Try positioning the unit at a higher angle so the dot moves across a wall or the ceiling — movement at height tends to catch the eye more readily than floor-only movement. The Mixed speed mode also helps, as the varying pace is more unpredictable. If your cat still doesn't engage after a few sessions, contact us and we'll help you find a better fit.
