When we unearthed an antique seed catalogue with the delightful image of an artist’s paint palette dotted with flowers (instead of paint), we were instantly inspired to create this collection!
One of the most intricate prints we’ve ever designed, it was made by carefully remixing the original artwork, and layering over 50 different flowers together to create the background. Every single flower was taken from vintage 1800’s seed catalogues! The banner on the trim is a lithograph from the same era, and features a quote from the great painter, Claude Monet — who once said he owed becoming a painter to the beauty of flowers. The resulting print is whimsical, artsy, and super cool — with an antique feel that we adore.
