In addition, since Gesswein Ruby Stones have an outstanding resistance to wear, they are more economical to use than other comparable tools.
Use dry or with Gesswein Stoning Oil to grind, touch up or debur steel and carbide parts. Ruby stones are also recommended for use on materials such as glass, quartz and porcelain.
All are 100mm (4") long, coarse grit in a variety of shapes & sizes.
*All dimensions have tolerance of ±0.1mm.
Ruby Stones are the ideal choice for deburring, blending, dressing, and fine polishing of molds & dies made of hard metals such as hardened tool steel, carbide and surgical stainless steel. Jewelers use them for sharpening of carbide and high speed steel engravers and other tools.

Mold & Die Uses:
- Deburring ejector pin holes.
- General deburring and edge breaking on mold steel and carbide.
- Blending a surface where a straight edge meets a radius.
- Polishing highly detailed areas on dies (after dressing Ruby Stone to a fine point).
- Ruby Midget Files (see "Related Products" below) can be used in an Ultrasonic Handpiece for fast deburring and blending in ribs and other hard to reach areas. Ruby Stones cut faster than our very popular Super Ceramic Stones.
- Fine polishing of surgical stainless steel instruments.
- Polishing and shaping of carbide & high speed steel gravers.
These fine grinding stones are made of Degussit DD57 (sintered ruby) which is a homogenous mixed-crystal material. The main element is aluminum oxide. The characteristic red colour is the result of an admixture of chromium oxide.
Because Degussit DD57 is a homogenous ceramic material which is bondfree, these stones cannot be classified in terms of "grit" but only in terms of the average grain size. The average grain size of types "fine" and "medium" is about 10µ. Type "coarse" has two average grain sizes at about 10µ and 100µ.
No bonding material is used, so these stones and files are extremely hard and resistant to changes in shape. This is particularly important for quality precision grinding and finishing.
In addition, since Degussit Ruby Stones and Files feature outstanding resistance to wear, they are more economical to use than other comparable tools.

Best thing for boredom
My dog loves the Benebone especially when he is bored. He loves the chicken one the best. When the edges start to splinter or get rough, we get him a new one.

My Dog Is Obsessed — Long-Lasting and Worth Every Penny
The Benebone Wishbone is hands-down one of my dog’s favorite chew toys. He cannot get enough of it. The real chicken flavor keeps him interested, and the wishbone shape gives him a solid grip from any angle.
What stands out is the durability. My dog is a strong chewer, and this thing holds up far better than most toys on the market. No soft spots, no chunks breaking off, and no mess—just a tough, long-lasting chew that keeps him busy.
Made in the USA is a bonus, and the medium size works great for a wide range of breeds. If you’ve got an aggressive chewer or a dog who goes nuts for flavored bones, this one is absolutely worth having in the rotation.

Great dog chew lasts a while, enjoyed by most every dog
These bones are great for a few small, yet significant reasons. Bottom line up front: They're great and a dog owner would be well served to pick up one or two of these as a long term chew toy your dog is almost sure to love.
1) The first being the odd shape of the bones. The shape enables the dog to pick up the bones with ease rather than some of the more flat bones or chews which can lead to a struggle and frustration. The three prongs and the elevated middle portion alleviate this concern.
2) These bones aren't ground material shaped into a bone shape, they are tough, plastic-like substances. They have a very subtle aroma of the flavor they are supposed to be (bacon, chicken, etc) but are completely safe for the dogs to munch on. The best part of the bones being this substance is that they last quite a long time.
3) The bones are lightweight and won't hurt you if you stub your toe as you walk around the house barefoot.
4) Dogs seem to love them. Only the most picky or reclusive dogs will ignore these bones.

Good size, lasts a long time
Dog likes these. She has her moments when this is only chew toy she wants, and spends days gnawing on it. She likes these bacon and chicken flavors. I like the fact that there is no squeak. This is a good size for full size Aussie, and I also like that she doesn’t “throw” these at me, she lays on the couch or floor and chews. They help to keep her teeth clean from plaque and tartar, so to me they are very functional. This is 4th or 5th buy again, so I wouldn’t buy again if she didn’t like. It does take a while for her to chew to point of needing new, since I keep variety of chew toys for her.
