Based on the excellent tensile and bending strength of the previous version of ABS-like resin + , ABS-Like resin Pro 2 strengthens the toughness performance, increases the elongation at break by more than 100%, and the finished model is stronger and more durable, which can be used to print high-strength and high-toughness models such as structural parts, industrial prototype parts, and fixtures.

High Flowability, High Success Rate

Low viscosity and high flowability shorten curing time and make models easier to form. The resin enables fast reflow, reducing delamination in model print. At the same time, the backplane adhesion is better, effectively reducing the risk of printing failure.

Notes

Before use:
  • Shake the liquid resin before use;
  • Clean the resin tank and the molding platform to keep the bottom of the resin tank in light transmission.
When using:
  • Unscrew the cap and add it to the resin tank according to the equipment requirements;
  • Select the correct print parameters and settings for printing.
After use:
  • After printing, please use the matching tools for post-processing, including blades, diagonal pliers, tweezers, containers, and gloves; clean them with water.
Post-processing steps:
  • Remove the printed model from the molding platform with a blade.
  • Submerge the model in the cleaning solution, rinsed or ultrasonically washed, then take it out and drained; Anycubic Wash and Cure machine s are suggested to ensure a better effect.
  • Proper processing, such as removing support, polishing, coloring, etc.

Precautions

  1. The ideal condition for storing uncured resin is a cool, dark place at room  temperature and protect from light to avoid high temperature or sunlight.
  2. Suggested operating temperature is 18-35℃, and a low temperature may affect the printing effect, thus, the resin can be properly preheated before use (not more than 60℃).
  3. If the resin pigment settles, it can be used after stirring or shaking.
  4. In order to ensure the performance of the resin, please takeout the model in time after cleaning to avoid the model soaking in water for a long time.
  5. To ensure the mechanical properties of the model, please perform post curing in time after cleaning and drying.
  6. To ensure the ideal performance of the curable material it is necessary to control the intensity and time of the light source after curing. Therefore, the following steps are recommended:
    • The intensity of mercury lamp or LED light source is 5-10mW/m2, and the duration is no more than 1 hour (self-regulation);
    • The exposure time in the sun (summer) is around 1 hour;
    • Proximity or long-term exposure under strong light sources such as high power high-pressure mercury lamps is prohibited;
    • It is recommended to print in a dark room or be covered with a lid while printing as resin is a photosensitive material.
    • To avoid yellowing caused by long-term curing of High Clear Resin, please reduce the exposure time by half compared with other resin colors.
    • Black resin may appear partially transparent in thin walls (<0.5mm), so the greater thickness can achieve better color effects.

All Gotchas, Gimmicks, and Grief
My husband broke the item in question, which was a Chemex coffee maker made of nothing but glass. It shattered full of coffee, so like a normal human he cleaned up the dangerous mess and threw it away. I put in a claim, and it said that I had to ship back the product. Believing that the Asurion process was as simple as stated, and reading the agreement that does mention that sometimes they'll require shipment of the item, but that they will review cases and use reasonable judgment, I contacted their chat, explaining that the requirement that I mail them a wet pile of shards of glass soaked in coffee (and a little bit of blood) was unsafe and unreasonable. I don't even know how I could do that in a way that would be safe for the people opening the packaging, or even to take it to the store. The shards of glass might puncture any plastic, and the wetness would soak through, plus there's the biohazard issue. Seems silly for a $47 product replacement to me. I figured any human would understand. First chat associate closed my case without even responding to me. I had to reopen it. The second one told me, "Yes, that is how your warranty works" as an answer to my "Hello, the last chat closed without me talking to anyone." I tried to explain the situation, and was told "If you call the hotline, maybe they'll help you." I call the hotline. The first person tells me tough, I have to mail it. I say it was thrown away. He says "AHA then it's lost! Your warranty doesn't cover lost things!" I say no, it's not lost, it was disposed of properly as shards of glass should be. I finally ask can I speak to someone else or a supervisor. He lies and says yes. I sit on hold for 20 minutes, never any wait time or any sort of indicator of when someone will talk to me. The phone call quality finally gets very horribly staticky, so I hang up and try again. Hallelujah, I get a decent human being who immediately says, "Oh, no, that's not reasonable! That is an unsafe thing to have to mail. I'll send it to the override department who should approve this because it's obvious that's not a normal thing to expect." Today I get an email that says: We can't approve your claim. We reviewed your NO SUPPORTING MANUFACTURER COFFEE MAKER claim. The product in your claim is not covered by your plan. As a result, we're unable to approve your claim. Nothing about the requirement to mail a biohazard, just the item isn't covered even though the item is absolutely covered. While I understand that loss prevention is important, this is a very small potatoes return and it isn't like I made this up. It would be easy to make me happy. I'm sure it has cost them more money to deny it than they would have lost covering the Chemex. I've bought multiple of their product replacement policies before. I never will again. They didn't offer for me to send a picture or anything. They just wasted hours of my time and sent a clearly AI-based answer, rather than treating me like a valuable customer.
