Steeds meer premium voertuigen zijn nu uitgerust met een adaptief chassissysteem. Tot de marktintroductie van de KW DDC Plug & Play-schroefsetkits moesten autoliefhebbers compromissen sluiten bij het achteraf inbouwen van een schroefset en de extra betaalde actieve controlesystemen en comfortkenmerken van een adaptieve serieophanging missen.

De adaptieve KW DDC Plug & Play-schroefsets daarentegen zijn compromisloos. De DDC schroefsets kunnen worden aangesloten op de aansturing van diverse standaard dempersystemen. Het is dus gemakkelijk om traploos verlagen te combineren met de rijdynamiek van een KW-schroefset en de functies van een adaptieve demperregeling. Bij montage van de DDC-schroefsetophanging hoeven bij de KW-ophanging alleen de standaard veerpoten te worden vervangen. Dankzij compatibele stekkers is het voldoende om de seriestekkers op het KW DDC-chassis aan te sluiten. De KW DDC Plug & Play schroefset wordt direct herkend door de standaard ingebouwde elektronica. Verdere montagestappen zijn niet nodig. Alle functies van de adaptieve seriebesturing blijven behouden en worden zoals gebruikelijk bediend via de serieknoppen. Zoals alle KW-schroefsets uit de Street Performance-categorie, maakt de KW DDC Plug & Play-schroefsetset ook een maximale traploze verlaging mogelijk.
