Für die Montage und Nutzung sind die im Lieferumfang enthaltenen Montageanleitung sowie die spezifischen Hinweise des Motorradherstellers zu beachten. Die empfohlene Zuladung beträgt 5 kg, und die empfohlene Höchstgeschwindigkeit mit montiertem Gepäckträger liegt bei 130 km/h. Schweres Gepäck sollte idealerweise in Seitenkoffern oder einem Tankrucksack transportiert werden, um die Fahrdynamik nicht zu beeinträchtigen.
