Gyokuro Shizuoka - Der Exklusive Für diesen Premium Gyokuro Grüntee wird die spezielle Teepflanze Yabukita verwendet. Die sorgfältige Verarbeitung ergibt jadegrüne, feine Nadeln. Nach dem Aufguss tritt eine tiefgrüne Tasse mit samtiger Süsse hervor. Ein meisterhafter Gyokuro! Gyokuro bedeutet " edler Tautropfen " oder "Jade-Tau" in der japanischen Sprache. Traditionell werden bei allen Gyokuros nur Blätter von Pflanzen verwendet, welche im Schatten wachsen. Nicht selten fällt darum für Gyokuro auch die Bezeichnung " Schattentee ". Nur junge, zarte und weiche Blätter dürfen für einen Gyokuro geerntet werden. Dies führt dazu, dass dieser Tee bei richtiger Zubereitung, ein sehr zartes, harmonisches Aroma offenbart und der Koffeingehalt sehr hoch ist. Die Präfektur Shizuoka liegt auf der Pazifikseite der Hauptinsel Honshu und ist wegen seines nass-kühlen Klimas ideal für Camellia sinensis Sträucher. Gut die Hälfte der japanischen Teeproduktion fällt auf diese Region. Japan nimmt auf dem Tee-Weltmarkt nur einen sehr geringen Anteil ein - jediglich 1.9% Tee, insbesondere Grüner Tee, kommt aus Japan.
