Heroes & Demons continues with three new terrain tiles, new expedition cards and new cave tokens. Furthermore, this expansion has additional rules. There are now demon cards, a kind of punishment cards that take up space in your deck of expedition cards. You also run the risk of curses, which saddle you with demon cards or set your pawn back.
Heroes & Demons can only be played in combination with The Search for El Dorado.
