Licht und Standort
Der Philodendron bevorzugt einen hellen bis halbschattigen Standort ohne Zugluft und direkte Sonne. Er mag zudem eine hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit.

Wasser und Dünger
Frühling - Sommer: Überprüfe etwa einmal in der Woche mit deinem Finger die obersten 2-3 cm der Erde. Wenn diese angetrocknet ist, kannst du der Philodendron brandtianum gießen.

Herbst - Winter: Während der kalten Jahreszeit braucht der Philodendron weniger Wasser, weil er auch weniger Licht abbekommt. Den Fingertest solltest du aber trotzdem alle 10 Tage machen.

Düngen: In der Wachstumsphase kannst du den Philodendron brandtianum entweder einmal im Monat mit Flüssigdünger oder je einmal im Frühling und Sommer mit Langzeitdünger düngen. Im Herbst und Winter benötigt er keinen Dünger.

Sonstige Pflege
Der Philodendron brandtianum ist dir dankbar, wenn du ab und zu seine Blätter mit einem feuchten Tuch abstaubst.
