Iso Elinson (1907-1964) war ein russisch-britischer Pianist, der im Alter von 56 Jahren während der Pause eines Wohltätigkeitskonzerts im King's College in London starb.

Die vorliegende Aufnahme nahm Elinson während seines Besuchs in Berlin in den Jahren 1929-1930 für German Columbia auf, die damals nur in Deutschland veröffentlicht wurde. Die British Library verfügt über ein Exemplar, das jedoch in der Mitte gebrochen ist.
