Als Neo Rauch an der Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst in Leipzig bei Arno Rink studierte, war Deutschland noch ein geteiltes Land. Nach dem Mauerfall eroberte er mit seinen großformatigen, rätselhaften Bildern die internationale Kunstwelt im Sturm und wurde zum Wegbereiter und berühmtesten Repräsentanten der »Neuen Leipziger Schule«, in der die figurative Malerei mit Elementen der Pop-Art, von Comics und Werbegrafik erweitert wurde. Der Katalog Neo Rauch Dromos Malerei 1993–2017 bietet eine Übersicht über Neo Rauchs vielschichtiges Werk. Er beginnt mit seiner ersten Einzelausstellung 1993 in der renommierten Galerie Eigen + Art in Leipzig und vollzieht anhand von Gemälden aus bedeutenden internationalen Sammlungen detailliert die Entwicklungen seines Œuvres bis in die Gegenwart nach. Perfect tuxedo to use for many functions. Got it about 2 years ago and have used it probably twice for galas as well as awards programs. Fits to size and didn’t break the bank. Texture is good and it is easy to pair with anything as well as is reusable.
