Von tief granatvioletter Farbe, ist er anfangs etwas verschlossen, entfaltet sich aber schon bald, um Noten von Kirsch, Himbeerkonfitüre und Maulbeeraromen sowie Anklänge von Zedernholz, zerkleinerten Steinen, Lorbeerblättern, Szechuanpfeffer und Lavendel mit einem Hauch von Sandelholz zu zeigen. Am Gaumen ist er mittelkräftig bis vollmundig, mit viel Frische, um die Melange aus eingelegten roten und schwarzen Früchten zu unterstützen, strukturiert durch körnige Tannine und mit einem anhaltenden pfeffrigen Kick im Abgang. Er braucht vielleicht ein wenig mehr Zeit als der La Joie und der La Muse, aber ich vermute, dass diese Schönheit die Geduld belohnen wird.
