Schon zu dieser Zeit begann sie mit ungewöhnlichen Werkstoffen wie Kautschuk zu experimentieren, den sie flüssig auf Oberflächen auftrug und nach dem Erstarren mit großer Körperkraft wieder abzog. Mit ebenso radikalen wie sinnlichen Materialtransformationen erkundete sie menschliche Existenzformen und deren Einbettung in Machtstrukturen. Dabei hat sie sich stets einer kritischen Unterwanderung von normierten Geschlechterrollen gewidmet. Diese Monografie stellt Buchers Schaffen von den Anfängen in Zürich in den 1940er-Jahren, der experimentellen Phase im New York und Los Angeles der 1960er- und 1970er-Jahre, über das Hauptwerk mit Architektur- und Menschenhäutungen bis zu den in ihren letzten Lebensjahren auf Lanzarote entstandenen Arbeiten vor.Dieses Buch ist auch auf Deutsch erhältlich.
Die performative Objektkünstlerin HEIDI BUCHER (1926–1993) wuchs in der Schweiz auf, studierte bei Johannes Itten in Zürich und feierte Ende der 1960er-Jahre erste Erfolge in New York und Kalifornien. Ihre Arbeiten sind in zahlreichen Museen und Privatsammlungen weltweit vertreten.

Makes my skin feel firmer
I bought this and the Prequel SPF, my first time using this product line. Definitely impressed and in my opinion, a great price for what seems like a quality product. The serum has a lightweight texture,, absorbs quickly, and my skin looks and feels well hydrated right away. More so than when I use a regular hyaluronic acid. There is no pilling or heavy feel so easy to use with other products. I can't say whether it improves skin texture over time or what the benefits are with continued use. I've been using it consistently with the SPF for the last two weeks, so it only been a short while. But when I put it on, my skin noticeably looks more springy and feels better throughout the day. I have mature, dry skin so I do use a moisturizer over this before sun protection. I imagine that if you have oily or normal skin you might be able to use this in place of moisturizer during the day.

New favorite moisture serum
I am blown away by this formula - it goes on silky and absorbs into the skin, giving it a plump, hydrated glow without ANY stickiness or annoying shine. Two pumps after cleansing and toner is just right but you can also go in heavier and use in place of a moisturizer. This truly gives me lasting moisture, which is amazing for a light to mid-weight serum. Wears great with other complexion products and under makeup. The glass bottle is luxe and the pump isn't the least bit messy. Glycerin is all the rage in terms of "hot" ingredients right now - and I have to say after using this, I'm a believer. I've pretty much replaced a classic daily moisturizer with pairing this serum before Strata Lipid Gold (another holy grail) - which works great under my moisturizing Japanese sunscreen (Canmake Mermaid Skin). These steps provide a flawless, juicy base under makeup for my maturing (43-year old) skin. Can't wait to try more products in this line.

LOVE
I love this stuff, doesn't irritate my skin and one pump goes a long way. I like to apply it right out of the shower with some rose hydrosol so my skin can soak it right up. Has a great plumping effect and doesn't irritate sensitive eye or lip areas. The glass bottle is a must for me and the pump is a nice added bonus. Also nice that it is made in the US. No strong scents or any fragrance, lasts me a long time too so the price isn't too bad. I'm new to this brand but am absolutely loving it so far!
If Prequel is reading this, PLEASE start using aluminum or glass pump bottles for your face cleansers and offer cheaper refills in packets- I'm sure there are plenty of people who would be willing to pay a bit more for the bottle and then less for a refill. Maybe the cost would even out? I love being able to keep your glass bottles and I hate having to throw out these plastic bottles. Just a thought...
