Der Autodidakt, der seine Bilder für Gasthäuser und Schenken malte, gilt nicht nur als einer der bedeutendsten Vertreter der Naiven Malerei – auch dessen spezielle Rezeptionsgeschichte ist bemerkenswert. Während er heute außerhalb Georgiens kaum noch bekannt ist, wurde er 1913 in der legendären Ausstellung »Mischén« (Zielscheibe) in Moskau gemeinsam mit Natalia Gontscharowa, Michail Larionow, Kasimir Malewitsch und Marc Chagall als »Rousseau des Ostens« präsentiert. Die Eigenwilligkeit von Pirosmanis Bildsprache beruht auf konsequent reduzierten Formelementen: Auf einem stets schwarzen Bildgrund entwickeln die Elementarfarben Rot, Blau, Gelb, Grün, Weiß raffinierte Effekte und sprechen den Betrachter unmittelbar an. Die Albertina in Wien widmet ihm nun die seit langer Zeit erste große Retrospektive im Herzen Europas und ordnet Pirosmanis Malerei kunsthistorisch ein.Ausstellung:

Provides privacy without being stanoffish

Its a perfect way to get a lil bit of privacy, its the color steel. Its a little darker than the picture but it works. Free standing doesn't attach to furniture and takes maybe 10 mins to put together. It's about 5 feet tall. Very lightweight cover slides over the steel frame and zips st the bottom.

Perfect for my office space!!
It's a well packaged item including a simple tool set and a clear instruction. I put it together just by myself in about 15-20 minutes without any problems. The base is solid pieces of metal, and it stands very sturdy. It's also light enough for me to move it around in my office to serve different purposes.
I like the color and the quality of the fabric. It blends in with my office space perfectly. I needed it as a partition between my desk and the door, and the background for my video conference call. Surprisingly, it can also deflect the air coming down from the AC vent behind my desk. I didn't expect it to 100% soundproofing (not its purpose), but I feel it did absorb some humming sound from my mini fridge behind my desk.
I would recommend this to my colleague.

Perfect for my company's temporary needs
Color: Gray, Size: 72" wide, 66" Tall
My company ordered multiples of these dividers to separate desks in much smaller temporary space we had to use after our offices were flooded in August 2023. (Yeah, I know - just getting around to reviewing them now!) These fit the bill perfectly. Granted a bit of privacy so we weren't staring at the employee next to us. Easy to put together; excellent value.
