Der Standard EVA Helm von Gath ist der Nachfolger des NEO Helms. Das Neopren Stirnband wurde durch ebenso leichtes aber gleichzeitig steifes EVA Material für zusätzlichen Stirnschutz ersetzt. Audio Vents für störungsfreies Hören trotz fest integriertem Gehörschutz sind neben dem geringen Gewicht und bequemen Passform ein weiteres Markenzeichen des Standard EVA Surf Helms von Gath.

Dieses Modell ist sehr gut geeignet für Surfer, die vorwiegend in kalten Gewässern surfen und einen fest integrierten Gehörschutz brauchen. Wer auch mal in warmen Regionen einen Surf Helm braucht, etwa im deutschen Sommer auf stehenden Wellen, dem sei das SFC Surf Convertible Modell empohlen, bei dem man den Gehörtschutz rausnehmen kann.
