I have 2 cattle dogs. One blue heeler and one blue heeler/aussie mix that is blind and completely ball crazy. We have gone through a hundred balls over the years and this is by far the best. It can be kicked (with think boots not running shoes), thrown, or rolled by the dog if you have one of those types. One of my dogs is a chewer and he hasn't put a dent in it, in months. The ball bounces when kicked/thrown and makes that odd noise when its hit just right so its extra entertaining for the dogs but also let's our blind dog know where its at. Can't say enough good things about this ball, worth trying for sure! It's also easy to drop in the creek, sink or tub to rinse off.

Was really hopeful for this toy. Our boy loves playing outside with balls, but likes to run and play tug with them. The material didn’t stand a chance against my dog. Already took chunks of it out in the first 20 min. The other thing was the noise level of the squeaker. It’s unbearably loud. To the point I had to stop giving it to my dog because he squeaked it so much I felt it was disturbing the neighbors. So overall, wouldn’t recommend unless you have a lot of land, plan on using it indoors, and don’t have a super chewer dog.
