Noch berühmter wurde der Blanc de Blancs im Jahr 1972, als er von Präsident Nixon beim "Toast to Peace"-Dinner in Peking serviert wurde. Für die Herstellung dieses Schaumweins verwendet Schramsberg kleine Chargen von Weinen, die in Eichenfässern vergoren wurden, um ihnen zusätzliche Komplexität und eine reichhaltige, cremige Textur zu verleihen. Der Wein wird dann einer zweiten Gärung in der Flasche unterzogen, demselben Verfahren wie bei der Herstellung von Champagner in Frankreich, und reift zwei Jahre lang auf der Hefe, bevor er degorgiert wird. Diese lange Reifezeit schafft einen raffinierten und anmutigen Schaumwein mit vielen kleinen Bläschen, einem Hauch von Toast und Vanillegewürz und einem mittleren Körper. Am Gaumen finden sich reichlich Noten von hellen Limetten, Grapefruit, grünem Apfel und Aprikose, die sich mit Geißblatt, Ingwer und Honig vermischen. Das komplexe und doch erfrischende Geschmacksprofil macht diesen Wein zu einem großartigen Aperitif, aber auch zum idealen Partner für Austern, Ceviche, würzigen Thai-Currys, gegrilltem Wolfsbarsch oder Brathähnchen.Shipping Notes

Chuckit medium rebound balls

My 8 month old German shepherd dog loves these balls. They are easy to throw, they bounce great, they are very chewable! She keeps one in her mouth most of the time. It satisfies her need to chew and she does not chew other things. She drops it in the water and lets the hole fill up and drinks that way. The only problem that has caused is suction in her mouth and difficulty in dislodging it for her. However, she would be lost without it!

These are definitely indestructible

Both of my dogs can destroy a ball in a matter of minutes if I let them play with them (supervised) as is. Well not with these balls. They are the ONLY ones I have found that are 100% indestructible. Please only let your dogs play with these as a toy when supervised though. They go really far when throwing them, so both dogs get a good amount of running and exercise with these. I also bought these because they have the hole in the middle of the ball which is very important in the event that a dog gets one stuck at the back of their throat. This allows them to breath unlike those without this hold. It's an unlikely event, but as dog owners, we all need to be aware of this and educate ourselves on what to do if this SHOULD happen. This isn't a scare tactic, nor a reflection of this particular brand, it can happen with any type of ball. My two dogs are about 45ish lbs and the size is perfect for them, I don't want anything smaller than this. They love them. There is no annoying squeak. Really easy to wash after use. Some balls take forever to get the slimy saliva off, but these don't.

Our German Sheppard loves these
Size: Medium
These cost a bit more than tennis balls, but they are so much nicer and longer lasting. For starters, they stay cleaner than tennis balls because they’re smooth rubber. Dirt won’t build up on them and if anything does stick, like grass or soil, it falls off once the dog slobber dries. They’re also thick, so they don’t fall apart or blow out like a normal tennis ball does in our dog’s jaws after 30 seconds. Our GS chomps on these like crazy and the only damage they’ve suffered is a crack that developed from the edge of the hole, but the crack is growing very slowly and none of these balls have totally failed yet. The balls do whistle when thrown ant high speed and that may help a dog track and locate it, but I’m not sure. Our neighbors hear the whistling too so it’s far from silent. Lastly the orange ball is easy to locate out in our yard, but the dark blue practically disappears.

Great for smaller dogs

These two balls are perfect for the smaller mouthed dog that loves to play fetch.
These balls are not only super durable (lots of teeth biting), but float in the baby pool we use for our miniature dachshunds.
The value here is much better than you’d find anywhere else. The noise, if bitten hard enough, was “low” at best. Easy to spot/find if overthrown. Will definitely buy again once these are in bad repair; so far, so good-love these for my fur babies!
