Der Universal Saw Indicator ist ein 2-in-1-Werkzeug: Er dient sowohl zur Kalibrierung der Parallelität zwischen Tischkreissägenblatt und Gehrungsschlitz als auch zur Mikro-Justierung des Parallelanschlags!

Er misst die Ausrichtung des Sägeblatts relativ zum Tisch (und zum Gehrungsschlitz), um eine feine Anpassung der Blattparallelität zu ermöglichen. Bei der Justierung des Abstandes zwischen Anschlag und Sägeblatt kann er außerdem kleinste Veränderungen in der Parallelität des Anschlags erfassen. Befestigt wird das Werkzeug entweder an Stahlqueranschlägen, die im Gehrungsschlitz laufen, oder direkt an ferromagnetischen Tischoberflächen der Tischkreissäge.
Der Indikator ist über einen verstellbaren Langschlitz montiert, wodurch er sich an eine große Bandbreite verschiedener Gehrungsschlitzabstände anpassen lässt.
