Kein Vertreter der fruchtig leichten Linie, sondern mit viel Kraft und Extrakten ausgestatteter Chianti Classico, ist der "Fonterutoli" eher ein Wein, der das Bild des Chiantis modern interpretiert. Auch die Kombination Colorino mit Merlot wenn auch nur zu geringen Teilen und Sangiovese zeigt die eher internationale Ausrichtung.
