Die rescueMe EPIRB1 Pro arbeitet im 406-MHz-Satellitenband. Dieses Band umfasst die internationalen Notruffrequenzen, die vom internationalen Such- und Rettungssatellitenbetreiber Cospas-Sarsat ständig überwacht werden. So ist eine schnelle Reaktion beim Empfang eines Signals überall auf der Welt gewährleistet.

Diese EPIRB ist mit einem 121,5-MHz-Peilsender ausgestattet, der von Rettungsdiensten zur Ortung von Schiffen in Seenot verwendet wird. Zusätzlich verfügt die EPIRB über ein leuchtstarkes LED-Blitzlicht für zusätzliche Wirkung, insbesondere nachts. Für Notfälle, in denen ein Benutzer die EPIRB nicht rechtzeitig erreichen kann, ist die EPIRB1 Pro zusätzlich mit einem automatischen Auslösegehäuse der Kategorie I (allgemein als „schwimmfrei“ bezeichnet) ausgestattet. Dadurch wird sichergestellt, dass die EPIRB durch die interne hydrostatische Auslöseeinheit automatisch aus der Halterung ausgefahren wird, sich anschließend automatisch aktiviert und an die Oberfläche schwimmt, um Ihre Notmeldung an das Satellitennetzwerk zu senden.

Das Automatic Release Housing (ARH) enthält außerdem einen praktischen Adapter, der mehrere Nachrüstoptionen bietet. Verwenden Sie den Adapter, um das ARH einfach an denselben Montagelöchern zu montieren, die zuvor für ältere und größere EPIRBS wie Ocean Signal E100/E100G, Jotron Tron 60s und McMurdo E5/G5 verwendet wurden.

It is soft and pretty, but I’m not sure that Barbie pink is my best choice lol. Usually I would pair it with a mid century modern bedspread that is chenille, with a little pink so it works well but not too matchy matchy. I wish I had taken a pic with that bedspread because the bit of pink on the bedspread looks very nice against the rug. So let me apologize for having it with an ugly bedspread.

I purchased a pair of these a week apart, because the price seemed too good to be true. Instead, they have exceeded my expectations. Yes, it takes a small amount of effort to adjust them when you first get into the car, but I don't even think about it any more. As far as the quality, there is no shedding, no smell, and no discoloration. We have put over 4,000 miles on the car since I put these in, and I have no complaints to register.
